We are seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to handle servicing, maintenance, and installations across various public sector sites. Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, conducting reactive call-outs, and supporting mechanical installations. Applicants should possess valid commercial gas qualifications and a full UK driving licence.
The Role
The role will be a mix of servicing, fault finding, and installation support, including:
- Servicing and maintaining commercial gas appliances
- Reactive call-outs and fault diagnosis
- Working on sites such as schools, council buildings, and healthcare facilities
- Assisting with mechanical installations including pipework and general mechanical plant
- Completing job reports and documentation accurately
- Working safely and professionally on live client sites
About You
You’ll ideally have:
- Valid commercial gas qualifications (COCN1, CODNCO1, or equivalent)
- Experience working on commercial gas appliances
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience with mechanical pipework and plant installation
- A full UK driving licence
- A professional attitude and good communication skills
- Experience working in occupied buildings such as schools or hospitals is an advantage
